Fee Breakdown 

The cost of a Live Scan fingerprinting service depends on your agency’s ORI number and the Application Type indicated on your Live Scan Request Form. The typical fees are as follows:

- Rolling Fee: $35

- DOJ Fee: $32

- FBI Fee: $17

- Child Fee: $15

- DOJ Fee for Record Review: $25

Please note that the DOJ may change these fees without prior notice. For an exact cost, refer to your Request for Live Scan form and check the required service levels (DOJ, FBI, etc.).

Certain agencies, particularly non-profits, may have different fee structures, and in some cases, the DOJ Fee may be waived for volunteers.

If your form includes a Billing Number, you will only need to pay the $35 Rolling Fee, as the remaining government fees will be covered by your Requesting Agency or Employer. To reduce out-of-pocket expenses, inquire if a Billing Number can be provided.
